What are the Coll de rates Cycling hours?

We open from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

If I don't want to use the reservation system, can you make the reservation for me?

Contact us here and send us the following information:

  • Your contact details
  • rental dates
  • bike type
  • If you don’t know your size, tell us.
  • Your height in cm.
  • If you need any accessory such as Helmet, pedals, Garmin GPS with pre-designed route file.

* If we have to make the reservation for you we will have to make an additional charge of €7 per bike per reservation.

The bike rental for one day, does this mean that it is 24 hours?

No. This would be from 7am (or later) to 3pm (or earlier)

Can I pick up or return my bike outside Coll de Rates Cycling opening hours?

Generally, you cannot pick up or return a bike if we are not open.

Is there any other payment to make when renting a bike?

No, but we recommend that you choose the insurance included option when you book the bike. This covers any damage done to it during the rental period.


Is there a bicycle delivery and collection service?

We do not offer this option. Bikes are collected and returned at our Bike Center.

Are the damages that can be done to the bicycle covered?

Yes, if you included the DAMAGE INSURANCE option when booking the bicycle.(*)

No, it did not include the option.(**)

(*) The insurance covers up to a maximum of 500 euros for damage to the bicycle.

From 501 euros the client will be responsible for the repair costs caused by the damage.

This insurance does not cover theft or disappearance of the bicycle.

(**) If you did not include our RECOMMENDED DAMAGE INSURANCE, the client will have to pay the amount of the damage (parts, repairs + labour) caused to the bicycle during the rental period.

What happens if my bike is stolen?

If your bike is stolen you would have to pay for it. You can see all the details about this in our Privacy Policy and in our Terms and Conditions.

The first thing you should do is go to the police to report the incident, stating that you have rented the bike from us. You will also need to bring us a copy of the complaint.

Our advice is to take out travel insurance and ask them if they cover this option.
